Allen improves a lot recently, he knows what he needs to do and he could finish his homework as soon as possible, he usually hands in his assignment the same day after Grammar session or the day after. He always respects and listens to the teacher and other classmates. In class, he doesn’t always answer the questions in a positive manner but he would respond if the teacher gives him chances each time. It is very important to summarise what has been learning and especially correct the errors and find the way to solve them out. Well done.
Allen did a better job in his final exam of Intermediate English Grammar. He has a good understanding about non-finite verbs and articles. What he needs to focus on more is: 1. fixed phrases, e.g. get used to doing, have no difficulty / trouble doing something, phone somebody to do something, look forward to doing, decide to do, pretend to do, enjoy doing… 2. singular noun, plural noun, uncountable noun
Allen got 17 out of 20 on vocabulary test, but he only got 1 out of 9 questions correct on the grammar quiz about reported speech due to his lack of concentration on week two class. He should work on reported speech and question tag.
