Amber did a very good job in spelling new words out. She can read CVC words accurately, she always participates in class activities live and effectively. She loves sharing her ideas and opinions with me which demonstrated meaningful classroom interaction. However, in the following weeks Amber could focus more on:

  1. separate letter d,b,p,q,j and i
  2. practice more magic E spelling
  3. we will be using rhyming words and reading materials to improve fluency when spelling the words.

Good job Amber, keep up the good work!!!

The learning intentions from Week 1 to Week 5 are outlined as follows:

1. Sing hiragana.
2.Get used to using Japanese Romaji.
3.Write from あ to こ

 

Amber is positive and enthusiastic to share ideas with the teacher. She always attends all the class activities. Apart from that, she could now engage in all the sessions.

It is recommended that Amber could focus more on the following aspects:

1. watch Japanese Anime

2. Mark a can-do-sheet each time.

3.Read aloud as a daily habit.
