Clara is a proactive student who consistently remains on task each lesson and puts forth her best efforts. She has completed half of her homework tasks so far this term. Clara asks questions and seeks clarification when difficulties arise.
Algebra has been the focus in Mathematics this term. In the second half of the term we will be undertaking Linear Graphs.
This term in Science, we have looked at Sound Waves, The Human Ear, Light, The Human Eye, Living Organisms, Classifications, Linnaean Taxonomy, and the Ecosystem. Unfortunately, Clara has allowed herself to lose focus in Science this term as she has the ability to perform much. Clara has done well during Term 4 although I know she can improve much more if she puts more effort into learning in class and at home. Clara always respects everyone and she is very polite although it would be great if she participated more in each session. Clara is a proactive student who has successfully completed this term of Mathematics. She regularly uses effective mathematical reasoning and efficient strategies that lead to the correct solution. Clara has shown her exemplary understanding of the topics covered this term which include Quadratic Equations and Sketching Parabolas. This is reflected in her outstanding Term 3 test result. The learning intentions from Week 1 to Week 5 are outlined as follows: 1. Various of Japanese particles practice ( は、を、で、に、へ…) 2. From week 1 to week 5 Clara participates in some lessons and she sometimes leaves her camera on (although when it is on I can barely see her). She sometimes interacts with her classmates and her teacher but she loses focus quite easily. Regarding the homework, she sometimes does it and it is obvious to tell that Sally could answer 60% in a correct manner. Clara did the exam ok. This term she did not participate as well as the last term in Japanese zoom class and she is barely absent-minded while the class. Clara’s effort in Term 3 Science was incredibly disappointing. She failed to submit her homework on numerous occasions and she performed quite poorly on her Term 3 exam, as majority of the questions were left unanswered. Clara needs to improve her work ethic, follow teacher’s instructions, and put more of an effort in her studies.
Clara is a diligent student who has successfully completed this term of Mathematics. The topics covered this term are Indices, Measurement and Probability. Clara only completed half of the homework tasks assigned to her. In order to improve Clara should revise the topic Probability including the concept of tree diagrams to solve problems. Clara should not hesitate to ask questions or seek clarification when difficulties arise. She should also aim to complete all home work tasks.

Clara is a very able student and she is encouraged to contribute more in class discussions. Clara has the ability to perform much better in Science though. To facilitate such an improvement, Clara needs to focus more during class time and not disappear during the online lessons. She must also dedicate more time towards homework and revision, as well as forward her homework to the teacher for review.
In order to improve Clara needs to ensure she does not hesitate to ask questions or seek clarification when difficulties arise. Clara has not attempted any of the home work tasks.
I would love that Clara participated more in class. Also, it would be very helpful that she worked on extra activities at home (grammar, vocabulary, writing activities, etc) as this would help her improve considerably. Clara is a self-disciplined student follows directions and she understands how to remember the sentence structure in order to make Japanese sentence with different particles. However, the vocabulary part needs effort. (1)For this term’s learning point, she has learnt as below that could be the part she progresses. 長音、濁音、半濁音、拗音、促音。For increasing vocabulary she has learnt more words of ひらがな at around 250. Clara did very well on the test. She has no problem at all with basic introductory question and is confident with numbers and the verbs. She needs to revise the grammar around family members prepositions, however that will become more natural as we progress through nouns during later classes. Congratulations to Clara for all her hard work. It has really paid off, though she is quiet, I am confident that she is capable of using ever more increasingly complex sentences to express herself in French.

Unfortunatrly, Clara didn’t do too well in the term 2 exam for Science. It appears Clara struggled understanding what some questions were asking as most of her responses seemed to not answer what the question was asking.
Clara has successfully completed the topics Linear Graphs and Trigonometry this term. In order to improve Clara needs to revise the concept sketching Linear graphs using the x and y intercepts. She should also no hesitate to seek clarification or ask questions when difficulties arise. Too many of Clara’s home works tasks were not attempted this term.
Clara did well in her exam. The first part was great although the second part (film review) had a few mistakes such as the use of the wrong verb tense and the middle paragraphs as she could have given more relevant information about the movie. All in all, she did really well!! GOOD JOB!
P.S: it would be great if Clara worked more on writing film reviews, narratives, etc at home so she becomes great at it!

Clara did her homework. For next week she has to write 5 idioms, 5 antonyms and 5 sentences with past continuous. We had a Spelling test in class today and she did quite well, she got 6 out of 10!

Clara is always listening and though she is shy, she is a quick learner and can push herself and progress though she prefers one to one when speaking.
