From week 1 to week 5 Emma has done amazing! She always participates in a timely manner and during every session she keeps her camera on. Emma has demonstrated excellent learning capabilities in maths this term. She was willing to challenge herself with difficult questions and contributed in class activities. She handed in homework on time and completed the work with a high standard, which also matched with her test results. In her test, Emma demonstrated outstanding understanding of a lot of maths knowledge we learned, including profit and loss, discount, and other percentage-related areas; however, she made some mistakes in gradient and congruent triangles. Emma transferred from Year 6 Maths to Year 7 Maths in week 3, and she has always demonstrated excellent capabilities in learning and understanding the content knowledge in both year levels. She was always on time or even early, and handed in homework in time with the most accuracy. One thing I would encourage Emma to do more is that try to engage more in classroom discussions. Emma did quite well in her semester 2 Mathematics exam. She is encouraged to double check her work more and improve her ability on how to draw histograms so that she can turn good scores into great scores.
Today we did the exam and Emma did a really good job!! She had a few spelling mistakes and a few mistakes with the use of past simple. Overall, it was great!! WELL DONE!!
Emma worked well today. She is reminded to access the GOOGLE DRIVE and look over the powerpoints and re-do some of the worksheets/chapters she found difficult to improve her knowledge and understanding for the upcoming exam on Saturday (13/06/2020).

Emma did her homework and most of the answers were correct. For next week Emma has to do pages 66 and 67 (Reading book) + compound and complex sentences sheet.
Emma displayed a good understanding of number planes and plotting straight lines.
We started using Powerpoint slides today in order to learn how to write an Explanation and also how to understand Language questions when reading texts. it went really well!! It is a great way to make lessons more interactive and it makes it easier for students to learn about the different topics. Emma did great!
Emma got 32 marks out of 44 in the mathematics exam. That’s 73%. Emma is recommended to read the questions carefully and make a habit of double checking her work. But she did a goof job and should be proud of her efforts.
Emma is focused throughout the whole class and she participates quite a lot during this time.
Emma would do even better if she practiced more Verb Tense activities at home in order to make it easier for her whilst writing Stories, Opinion pieces, etc. Also, learning new vocabulary (several words a week) would be excellent as it would help her not only whilst reading texts but also when writing difference pieces. All in all, she does really well but this would help her progress favourably in a short time.
Emma always does really well during the different lessons although she can sometimes have difficulties with the use of different verb tenses. It would be perfect if she practiced this at home more often in order to create amazing and original Writing pieces. Also, learning new vocabulary each week would also be good for her writing pieces.
Emma is a very polite student who always works really hard during each session. She uses class time productively and always contributes to class discussions by adding new ideas or giving her personal opinion on different topics.

Emma shows a good level of progress in Mathematics. She is working hard and shows a good level of initiative and enthusiasm. She has great potential and works towards achieving it. Emma brings fine contributions to the class and is eager to improve her mathematical skills.
Emma managed to get all the grammar quiz correct, and she got 14 out of 20 for the vocabulary test.
