The learning intentions from Week 1 to Week 5 are outlined as follows: programming in an objective orientated way drawing objects in TKinter and canvas control the movement of objects positioning objects by coordinates defining classes in a program Joy always participates sessions in a timely manner. During the sessions, Joy seldom keep the camera on. Joy is interactive to shares ideas with the teacher and peers. She always try to change the value of the variables to see the different results, which could inspire her. Apart from that, Joy can always engage in most of the sessions. She has the passion for the programming. Joy has put much effort in learning… Read more »

Joy has applied herself to her work over the past few weeks. Generally speaking, she is willing to learn and actively talks to the teacher during class. She has finished all of her homework. During term 3, the class was focused on year 3 math, including algebra and geometry. Next term we will move on to year 4 algebra and geometry. During term 3, the class was focused on the following content: Fractions Angles Parallel and perpendicular lines 3D Objects Movement of shapes Position Time Length Perimeter & Area Next term, the student will be focusing on mathematical word problems… Read more »
Joy has applied herself to her work over the past few weeks. Her English has greatly improved. Generally speaking, she is willing to learn and actively talks to the teacher during class. She tried to finish all of her homework but has been avoiding the writing homework. She needs to do more writing homework. During term 3, the class was focused on year 3 English, including grammar and vocabulary. Next term we will move on to year 4 English.
Joy has built up essential spacial abilities and number sense. However, she is having a hard time on numerosity as abstract representations and visualizing two-dimensional cross-sections of three-dimensional objects. Additionally, the student needs to slow down and take one step at a time to build up the topology of brain systems engaged during mathematical cognition. If she has shown significant interest in programming and gaming, she should be aware of the importance of attending to precision.
The student has applied herself over the past five weeks of study. She has shown significant interests in class content and has been diligent with her assigned tasks.
Joy has attended all the class on time. She shows interest in programming. Although there was some issue with her computer, she can work on learning and practicing on a web browser. After the computer issue has been fixed, she could write code with higher speed. Joy was a little bit of shame at first, but she is getting much better now. She could ask creative questions and use her unique way to complete the program, which demonstrates she is able to make her ideas come true through Python programming.
