Mike does not participate much in Japanese class until the last 2 weeks and he was barely absent-minded while the class. In this Term3 due to the Internet problem, Mike not always attends sessions in a timely manner and not frequently interacts with the teacher but takes a bit long to answer the simple question which was writing on the board and probably because of the internet he could not see anything as he mentioned. Mike Guo falls behind these 2 terms. Mike sometimes does not respond and he does not remain focused on the zoom lesson. I got to know that it could be some internet issue with his computer and got lost sometimes. However, it would be great if he could have finished the homework that in our WECHAT group chat. Mike is getting faster of the Hiragana. Good job. However , I did not see Mike as active as in BGS. We have learnt verb changing form.particle を、で、に、へ. です。でした。ます。ました。あります。います。both affirmative and negative. If Mike have more time to finish the homework he would be better.Hope he can focus more next term.

Mike did not finish homework. And he did not actively discuss in zoom discussions. he needs to try harder to remember the new words. Or it might be a long way for him to understand all the Verb grammar works.
I did not see Mike’s homework. Proberly he need more time to remember the vocabulary . This week we have learnt particle くない、な形容詞＋じゃないです。ましょう。ませんか。Particleにをでへ。
Mike shut down mic and camera . He is getting faster of the Hiragana 濁音、長音、促音、拗音. Good job. However ,Mike could not listen attentively to the responses of others. I did not see his homework yet. This week we have learnt particle を、で、に、へ。

This week Japanese Class Mike sometimes shook his head confusedly. He can get is little distracted in the sessions, but I suspect that this is because we are working online. Last week the homework was sent to me in a timely manner. But still he need to finish the Japanese word dictation. Also basic japanese pronunciation practice Num1-25 homework and kosoado practicing . He would be better if he could finish some under parents supervising. I am happy with Mike’s progress at this stage. He is a polite and conscientious student – a delight to teach.
Japanese class 4/10 is a supplementary lesson on 3/13. The lessons this week concentrated on the animetion they like . We have learnt new vocabulary and reading from the Genki 1 writing and reading books Lesson 1. Mike reads very well, above the level of a Grade 6 student.
Mike is kind and helpful to everyone in the Friday Japanese classroom. He follows the classroom rules. And very quiet and courteous . But he needs to focus on the class . Because he is to feel borred on 1 thing . He needs to do our homework in a timely manner.
Mike is thoughtful in interactions with others. And he is committed to doing his best. But after couple breaks from our Japanese Class he was a bit lagged behind . And he never fill up our homework.
Mike helps to keep the work group focused and on task . He is good as a leader and helpful to everyone in the Japanese classroom. He can understand basic Japanese words . And for further progress he need to finish homework Paper 1-25
Mike exhibits a positive outlook and attitude in our Japanese classroom. This week we have learn a lot of new grammer. Need to check the note book and try to be an assitant at our class.
Mike has good basic Japanese communication capability. For making progress , he needs more time on Japanese and more homework to continue. Also he is easy to be affected in our class . He has Japanese homework fromNum 1-25 on text paper.
