Shiyang is an enthusiastic student who always remains on task and consistently applies himself during each lesson. All of his home work tasks were completed to a high standard. Shiyang asks questions and seeks clarification when difficulties arise. Algebra has been the focus in Mathematics this term. In the second half of the term we will be undertaking Linear Graphs.
The learning intentions from Week 6 to Week 10 are outlined as follows: 1. to understand how to annotate the themes, 2. to appreciate the language features of the text, 3. to analyse the themes of the text, 4. to create an opinion piece based on the themes of the text.
Shiyang always participates in the sessions in a timely manner. During the sessions, he is willing to actively communicate and share ideas, though the response can be improved in the future. Shiyang’s performance in the final assessment task (opinion piece) could be improved, especially in English grammar and vocabulary.

Shiyang is a diligent student who has successfully completed this term of Mathematics. He regularly uses effective mathematical reasoning and efficient strategies that lead to the correct solution. During the first 5 classes, Shi Yang has made progress week upon week. Shi Yang might be considered as inactive when he is needed in a discussion or when he is required to answer questions. Quadratic Algebra has been the focus in Mathematics this term. In the second half of the term we will be undertaking Quadratic Graphs.
Shiyang has successfully completed Term 3 and achieved an above average mark for the exam. I am proud of his improvements and he has gained a lot of confidence. He has no issues reading fluently and a loud during sessions. He needs to expand his vocabulary by reading at least 30 minutes a day for enjoyment. Keep up the good work Shiyang.
Shiyang has improved a great deal in this term. He’s more engaged and more involved. Keep up the good work! He has now developed a solid understanding in some Python data types and is comfortable in applying what he learned to solve basic real-life problems.

Shiyang has demonstrated a huge progress in this term’s science class. He was willing to engaged in class activities and discussions. However, he did not always turn on the camera in class. In his test, he demonstrated outstanding understanding in all types of body systems and was able complete the questions with a high standard. One thing he could improve in the future is to be more careful when reading the questions to avoid making unnecessary mistakes. Overall, Shiyang did an excellent job this term. Shiyang is a proactive student who has successfully completed this term of Mathematics. The topics covered this term are Indices, Measurement and Probability. Shiyang completed all of the homework tasks assigned to him. In order to improve Shiyang should revise the topic Measurement including the concepts of surface area and volume of prisms. Shiyang also should not hesitate to ask questions or seek clarification when difficulties arise.
Shiyang could participate all class activities and sometimes he could attend in a positive manner. He also sometimes interacts with the teacher and peers. Shiyang is a conscientious student who applies himself each lesson. Shiyang has only completed most of the home work tasks so far this term. In order to improve Shiyang needs to ensure he does not hesitate to ask questions or seek clarification when difficulties arise.
Shiyang has really impressed me and his reading has improved a lot. He actively engages in class discussions and he is always willing to complete higher level tasks. He sometimes struggle to focus during class and it would help if he is in a quiet space with no distractions. Well done keep up the good work.
Shiyang was usually very quiet in Science class. He could obey class discipline very well and was usually able to answer the questions when asked. Shiyang gradually improves his understanding about Relative Clause. Well done. Currently, he could do his homework in a more accurate manner and he hands in his homework in time. Shiyang improved a lot in his grammar learning. He has a better understanding about non-finite verbs, so he just made some minor mistakes. It is recommended that Shiyang could summarize the fixed phrases and practice more about them. For example, get used to doing, have (no) difficulty/trouble doing something, phone somebody to do something, make … do something, admit doing, pretend to do. In order to have further achievement, it is better for Shiyang to focus more on articles ‘a, an, the’.
Shiyang is slightly quiet in the class, but he paid attention to the learning content and discussion. He showed great effort in study this term.

Shiyang has successfully completed the topics Linear Graphs and Trigonometry this term. In order to improve Shiyang needs to work on rounding decimals. A few of his end answers were rounded incorrectly which prevented him from achieving an exemplary mark. Shiyang should also no hesitate to seek clarification or ask questions when difficulties arise. “Shiyang got 12 out of 20 on the vocabulary test. It is suggested that he write out the ones she didn’t get correct, preferably 3 times per word a day.

Shyang got 12 out of 20 on the vocabulary test. Since he only got 1 out of 9 on the grammar quiz, it is suggested that he should teach himself and finish the exercise from Unit 47 to Unit 50.
