Teresa has made a big progress on her mathematical learning. She can actively participate in the classroom activity, and she always finishes the homework on time, neat and clean. However, Teresa needs to develop her mathematical thinking skills. For example, although sometimes Teresa can answer the questions correctly, she does not really understand the meaning behind the concepts, she just follows the algorithm. This hinders Teresa to gain a comprehensive understanding of the mathematical concepts, and thus, Teresa can be confused when doing the extended response questions. For the following weeks, we will focus on revision of the previous chapters,… Read more »
Teresa has a good class discipline during the lesson. She is willing to ask and answer questions in the class. Although sometimes she does not understand a mathematical concept, she can pick it up very quickly after my explanation. However, Teresa has difficulties with some basic mathematical concepts, which often confused her in extended response problems, for example, understand the trigonometric ratios as a procept. In term 4, we will continue develop Teresa’s mathematical understanding and skills, in order to provide her an opportunity to continue her learning on Year 12 Math Methods.
